🕌 Meniň Günüm

Prayer times

Accurate times for the five daily prayers: fajr, dhuhr, asr, maghrib and isha. Times are calculated from your location and keep working with no internet connection.

How the times are calculated

The app reads your coordinates and calculates prayer times for that exact point. In settings you choose the calculation method — Muslim World League, Diyanet, Umm al-Qura and others — and the school, Hanafi or Shafi'i, which changes the asr time. Any city in the world works the same way.

Works offline

The calculation runs on the phone itself, with no request to a server. On the road, in a village or with the internet down, the times are still right. You only need a location fix once.

Reminders

Each prayer has its own reminder: sound, vibration or silent. You choose how many minutes ahead to be warned. A home-screen widget shows the countdown to the next prayer without opening the app.

If the time is a minute or two off

If your local mosque follows a slightly different schedule, settings let you set a manual offset (+/- minutes) per prayer so the app matches it.

FAQ

Do prayer times work without internet?

Yes. The calculation happens on the phone; internet is only needed for the first location fix.

Can I use the Hanafi asr time?

Yes, settings let you pick Hanafi or Shafi'i and asr is calculated accordingly.

Reminders do not arrive, what should I check?

Notification permission, exact alarm permission, and battery optimisation exclusion. All three are enabled with one button in settings.
